Costs That Aren't in Any Package
Every Las Vegas wedding company handles these the same way. Knowing them up front is the difference between a budget and a surprise.

Clark County collects the $102 directly, and both of you have to appear in person to apply. How to Tell What a Vegas Wedding Really Costs
Headline prices on the Strip are famously low. These are the line items that close the gap.
Officiant 'donation'
Many chapels advertise a package price, then expect a separate cash donation for the minister on the day. Ask whether the officiant's fee is included. It is in every LVWC price.
Photographer tips and image counts
A package that includes 'photography' may mean a handful of images, with the full set sold afterward. LVWC desert packages include 200+ edited high-resolution images.
Permits for outdoor venues
Valley of Fire requires a state park special use permit, and Eldorado requires BLM permitting. An independent photographer or officiant won't always hold one. LVWC secures them as part of the package.
Witness fees
Nevada requires one adult witness at the ceremony. Some venues charge for one if you're eloping alone. LVWC provides a witness free with every package, including Sign & Go.
Limo and transport add-ons
Chapel packages often list a limo as an upgrade. For desert ceremonies, check whether transport is included (helicopter and Area 51 packages include it) or plan for a rental car.
Date surcharges
LVWC prices don't change by date, but hotels and flights do. Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve, and repeating-number dates like 11/11 raise travel costs sharply.
Getting the Most for Your Budget
Five Ways to Spend Less Without Cutting Corners
Pick a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Package prices stay the same, but availability is better and hotel and airfare costs drop for everyone travelling.

Choose your tier by real guest count. The couple-only tiers at Valley of Fire ($900) and Nelson Ghost Town ($850) are the best value if it's just the two of you.
Drive yourselves to the desert. Valley of Fire and Nelson are 45–60 minutes from the Strip, and a rental car for the day usually costs less than hourly private transport.
Get the license the day before. It costs the same $102 either way, but it keeps the wedding day free of any rushing, and a relaxed timeline makes better photos.
